BACK TO OUR ROOTS
Do you call all plants that are late bloomers weeds? If they grow small berries, do you throw them away? I sure don’t! It’s not so important how closely we plant them together. It’s more important how they communicate with each other at a distance, how they live through the cultivating and fertilizing with the thought that they may someday be planted together in the same pot. Yes, plants do communicate with each other in fact probably better than most humans do. They don’t fight with each other. They don’t know the word “divorce”. They know not how to even argue with one another. They grow in rows of discipline.
Do we, as humans need to learn from plants or can we comprehend by ourselves to be as fearless and peaceful in the same sense that they are? Can we communicate as well as they do? We may be the most intelligent living things on this earth but I’d like to think that we can grow from our roots as they do with the same kind of discipline! After all, we may be living together in the same house some day the same as the plants do in the same pot! When that happens will we be as peaceful together as they are? The love we have for each other must be cultivated like a garden. A little time and effort must be summoned constantly to keep any relationship flourishing and growing.
